I hate to say it, but the overly open plan design combined with tiny desks looks really unappealing, but seems to be a common theme of all the Google offices outside the plex.

These days I'm doing a large amount of network plans and diagrams which has all my cube wall (we're pretty open plan as well, so they're short walls of a quarter cube) and my desk to either side of my triple-head laptop full with paper.
