As sad as the lack of things like the Daily Show makes me, I hope the writers win this. I fear they'll get fucked hard, though.
For the Australians and others who've not been paying attention, the writers of pretty much everything you watch from the US are out on strike. Most shows will run out of scripts and shut down in the next month unless it's resolved. The strike is over things like the studios wanting to pay the writers 0.00% for anything streamed on the internet or any other new technology. See, it's just "promotional" to stream shows on itunes. Which is why they charge money for it.
