So I'm hoping that someone out there knows the answer to this, because I'm stuffed if I can figure it out, or find the information with google.
Using OpenOffice Impress (the presentation software) how the hell do I get bullet points on a slide to come up one at a time? This is driving me insane. The help documents are spectacularly useless.

Date: 2005-07-03 05:51 pm (UTC)Lately, I've found the "prosper" LaTeX package to be my favorite way of putting together good-looking and fully-featured presentations. If you're familiar with TeX at all and are casting about for good slideshow software, check it out.

Date: 2005-07-06 09:58 am (UTC)For this presentation, when I have it open, and click on 'Effects', the effects dialog that's open gets re-drawn about once every 2s, and each time it's re-drawn, it resets to the default 'Effects' tab.
Looking further, this is because I have the little 'Presentation' window (with Insert Slide, Modify Slide Design... and a couple of other items in it) showing, and partially overlapping the main window. If I move it or kill it, it stops auto-refreshing the damn dialogs every couple of seconds.
Aaaargh. I hate computers.
