recommendations for movers?

So Miss S and I are moving in together next week (eek, so soon, so much still to do!)

Does anyone have any recommendations for moving companies? I'm probably going to also get them to help with the packing shit in boxes stage, because I'm working on a theatre show til Saturday.

On that note. If you wanted to come to the show, please try to book - either ring the booking number, or pass a message on to me and I'll do it for you. The later part of the week is filling up fast.. mordwen has a very complimentary writeup here.

Chess were good to me (they moved me to Finland, so moving you across St. Kilda shouldn't be too bad). The ones I got also meet the shit-in-boxes criteria: I left the 'moving shit to my parents' place' about a week later than originally planned, and thus they were literally wrapping stuff in paper if necessary and putting it into boxes whilst I brought fresh carloads of new stuff in from Armadale.

We've used bluecircle.com.au to move furniture around Melbourne and packsend.com.au to ship stuff to Adelaide, both did the job without breaking anything.
