Up until there was a fuss a few weeks ago about George getting a role in Heroes did I even know that Sulu's name was George Takai.

Now I have a lot more respect for the man, both as an actor, and as a human being. :)

Oh, I found some Vernor Vinge books in borders, thanks for reminding me of his name. I yoinked 'A Deepness In The Sky' and loved it.

Speaking of Vernor Vinge, can you recomend a good bookstore in the CBD? The borders in Melbourne Central doesn't have "Rainbows End" which is the one I'm after.
