melbourne appearances
Mar. 30th, 2008 05:25 pmI'm going to be doing a series of tech talks on MapReduce, google's system for doing massively parallel computation, at various Melbourne universities this week:
Monday 31st: Melbourne Uni, 5.15pm. Theatre 1, School of Computer Science (or whatever it's called now).
Tuesday 1st: Monash Clayton, 1pm. Room H5, Menzies building (11), ground floor.
Wednesday 2nd: RMIT City, 11.30am. Building 8, Level 11, Room 68.
I'm also going to be doing short lectures for unimelb first years on Monday. Wheeeeee!
And yes, I've been quiet lately. Sorry, life hasn't been full of free time. :-(
