Here's a borderline amusing website: citysearch. Pick, say, "Bars and Clubs", then marvel at the "Search" fields they have there. You can select, say, "Venue Name", then (eventually) you get a long long drop-down menu with all the venue names in it. How exactly is this "search"? Or pick "Location", again, a list of suburbs. Oh, you wanted to know about "bars near this location"? Bzt. Too bad. There appears to be no actual way to search the website. There's a 'web search' field in the top corner, but this just goes to sensis' hilaaaariously bad web search engine.

Note that the website is using dynamic methods to populate the dropdown menus - and that they might make your browser go very very slowly because of the sheer size of them.
