Things that make you go aaaargh

Scientists and economists have been offered $10,000 each by a lobby group funded by one of the world's largest oil companies to undermine a major climate change report due to be published today.
Letters sent by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), an ExxonMobil-funded thinktank with close links to the Bush administration, offered the payments for articles that emphasise the shortcomings of a report from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Ok, this might sound a little hyperbolic, but....
I want to see these fuckers on trial for crimes against humanity. Them and their paymasters at ExxonMobil.

Guys. It's happening. Your pathetic attempts to try to buy dissent are disgusting. On the plus side, the AEI should have hopefully burned what little credibility they had remaining with this stunt.

For those unfamiliar with AEI - it's the home of a pack of insane cockmunching cunttards. The sort of people who helped push the Iraq war, and are now pushing for a war with Iran. What the fuck, hey, it's not like any of them will actually fight in any actual war. And the dollars they get for pimping themselves mean they can buy themselves a nice McMansion in a gated community on a high hill, so global warming, pah, should be fine.

They're corporate whores. They will push almost any vile point of view, so long as someone pays them. (The phrase "whore" is possibly unfair to prostitutes)
If someone wanted to set up a "Puppy And Cute Baby Harvesting, Inc" company, the AEI are the folks you'd hire to push your point of view. For Australians, they're an even more amoral version of the IPA.

These people are pondslime. The nasty sort of pondslime that even the hungriest of goldfish would say "dude - I'm not eating that shit".

And yes, I know that's just a disturbing concept. But even goldfish have standards. (Ok, fair's fair, they're higher standards than, say, the editorial page of The Age, but shit, who doesn't?)
