mmm delly goodness
Sep. 8th, 2006 03:09 pmSo I ordered some decent size batteries for a couple of work laptops on Wednesday (yah yah, Dell sucks, I know, but it's what we use at work). Ordered online, filled everything out.
Yesterday, phone rings. It's someone from Dell.
"Hi, I'd just like to get the shipping address for your order?"
'Um, same as on the order form'
"Is that a residence or a business?"
'It's a business, same as on the order form'
"And what's the business name?"
'Same as I put on the order form'
"Ok, thank you" *click*
Today, phone rings. Someone else from Dell. Went through exactly the same script.
This is for $270 worth of batteries. Which bit of 'online commerce' are Dell not understanding?
