After I started getting some fairly hateful comments on the cartoons post, I've switched my comments policy over to auto-screening (hiding) all anonymous comments.

There's been subsequent (screened) anonymous comments complaining that "is this blog a democracy?" - well, no. It's my personal space to write about stuff that interests me, and as such, I get to decide how I want it to work. If this offends you, too bad. Feel free to set up your own space on any one of the large number of open blogging systems where you can write whatever you like. Or create an account and sign your name to your comments.
